Good Lord NO, it is not an original. Not like any I have ever seen anyway.
I am talking about the bend in the front downtubes at the neck.
The engine is an older set of cases. The timing cover has no cut out for an electric starter, yet the ignition is a circuit breaker. An XLH would have had an electric starter and a circuit breaker where an XLCH would have been kickstart only and had a magneto. So it looks like a mix.
The other side..... The primary cover is that of an XLH as far as I can tell from the small pics.

NO It's a dream. I got the picture from an Irohead website. I had a 1971 and 1969 XLCH in the 70's. I bought the 1971 you helped with the carburator at the top with my sign in. Now it's a lifestyle. I hope you are around for the next 100 years, because I want your advice when I finally get my flathead sportster. SORRY to misdirect ???

Ha-Ha! OK, thanks. I just have always had a soft spot for a K Model since the days aboard a KR dirt tracker.
I have found one since that time that I really wanted to buy.
But two problems popped up......
1) The owner said if it were to be for sale, it would be $10 to $12K.
2) It was not for sale.
