The right side engine case is definitely from a '71 or newer. The left side primary case also looks '71 or newer. And the rocker boxes are '71 or newer.

Since the owner is advertising '72, I'd be inclined to believe him and say it's a '72..... unless the engine # proves different.

In addition to what others have mentioned, I would be a little skeptical about the front brake. It appears it may not have one. A ride with only a "crappy" rear drum brake is a little scary for my riding style..... even at my age. All fixable, but IMHO a PITA to cure. Be sure to factor it into the price.

As others have said, certainly not older than a 1971.
You can look at the engine serial number stamped on the right side of the engine at the base of the cylinders.
If the number ends in 'H1' then it is a 1971.
If it ends in 'H2' then it is a 1972, etc on up through 1979 which ends with 'H9'.
