Default C V Carb

Can I get some pics from some one running a CV set up ? I just pick up my carb from my local guy 96 carb 40 mm with all brackets and backing plate for 80 bucks ! I was going to run the adpter that bolts to my stock manifold and then uses a clamp to old on the carb. So i looks like i have some interferance with the petcock even if I go with a differnt one like 90' still dont think that will fix clearance issues if the carb is tilted forward I can see were it would clear.

Thanks
T- Ron

I have one on my 74, and have the original right side petcock on the peanut tank, it's close, but it doesn't hit at all. Your best bet for mounting it, is to buy the press on flange adapter that's all over ebay, instead of that flimsy rubber boot adapter. You have to run supports with those things, with the solid flange, you don't need one.

No matter the type of adapter, you still need a support. It serves to keep the manifold from twisting on the head spigots. The original carbs were bolted to the manifold and support brackets were required.

I am using the adapter shown in the tread posted by Mick I am all set with a carb support for sure. Going to put on a 90 degree pertcock and should be all good. Thanks for all the pics and advice. What throttle length throttle cables are you guys running. Mine seams like it will be really short.

Thanks
T-Ron
