Anyone ever use a Ultima electronic ignition on the ironhead.I have been thinking of purchasing a electronic ign for my old 77.The ultima seems about the best priced one for the features I have seen.

I have it on my 1978. Yes, it has become a very popular unit.

I am running Wiseco 10:1 pistons. To eliminate the pinging i had to both install a VOES and retard the ignition timing from the static setting of 38` to 35`.

All runs very well indeed.

yeah I want to do that to mine I have points there used to be electronic ign but somebody converted it. I have been trying to find directions to see what I have to do but the webside dont give any
