For all intents and purposes, I have what I believe to be a 1975 XLH frame with numbers matching VIN on the frame and engine. However, the following number shows up on the casting on the lower left rear; "47652-67". See attached picture.
Is this just a casting they made way back when and welded into all the frames over the years, or is this the actual part number for the frame? My HD parts catalog shows the correct part number to be 47014-73.
Additionally, the top of my seat mount bracket has been sawed off. I need to refabricate it. If someone has a 75' or so frame with the type of bracket shown in the second picture, I sure would appreciate center to center hole dimensions from the top to the bottom hole, top hole diameter, and spacing between the two vertical tabs that the seat pin goes in on top.

Yes, just a casting number. It is unfortunate that these often resemble part numbers.
Thanks guys. Knew the walking, talking encyclopedias of Ironheads would have an answer post haste.
Sepixlh, I have the same drawing/book. Unfortunately, the ONE thing it doesn't show is the height of the seat bracket or the distance between the top tabs. From my cut off version, plus pics of others, I can see that it "wraps" around the top frame rail so I can't just guess at how wide to make it when I refab it. Gotta get someone who can give me actual measurements.
here's what I have presently.
OH, another question. I most defintitely have an XLCH. However, someone has done the electric start (XLH) conversion. I have to buy a whole new wiring harness for the bike. I presume I should get the XLH harness due to the electric start, instead of the XLCH. Correct?
Model can be checked from VIN# if it starts with 4A it's XLCH if it starts with 3A it's XLH.
There is more differences than just wiring, oiltank, batterytray, clutchhub, starter, solenoid, relay...

Looks like some kind of cheap aftermarket frame. The backbone mount looks like a ironhead but the bottom tubes look too wide so idk.
