Started to do swap last year but ran into a couple of issues,so now I am back at it. So here are my qustions.
1. what cable are you guys using I bought a single cable for a older model CV but the free length was to long.
2. My carb didn't come with the choke cable. If I buy a choke cable what other parts are needed I am having trouble finding out what else is needed to operate the choke .
Honestly, if you have an older Ironhead like mine, the CV was kind of a pain in the butt to make work...wouldn't clear my gas tank. I'm going with a Mikuni instead.
I had it all mocked up with intake, carb, and petcock. Everything fits ok I have my tanked mounted on the back bone frisco style so I got room I just can't find the choke parts or a single cable that will work so I went back to the old trusty bendix still have CV sitting around I was hoping to finish swap this winter but have not found parts yet
