Making do on today's ride
Rode most of the day and when almost home I came to a stop and put the clutch in, went to toggle through the gears and hmmmm. 4th to first like butter. The cotter pin broke off that holds the bar to the shift dog on the trans. I started rummaging through my stuff and viola, my key ring fit nicely in the hole. Sometimes ya just get lucky. Gonna throw a few spares in the bag for possible future times.
The pic shows the new cotter pin installed, I was just showing the location. Not taking a picture in the hot sun on the side of the road...........
