Since the electric bikes are no longer being sold at the traditonal dealerships, they no longer have need for the very nice DC "semi slow" charging stations they installed. I'm wondering if they'll just keep 'em in place or if H-D corporate will have some sort of buy back program and repurpose/resell them to the Livewire dealerships?
My local dealer (San Jose HD) is also a Livewire dealer so they're keeping the charger. I actually saw a bike plugged into it for the first time ever last visit (about a week ago).
Before that the spot was always used by a gas burning bike of some sort.
What's a DC station? Dealerships never had them around here in the first place. Never had a livewire either. Waste of time, money, and space given there is zero interest in that stupid thing. Too bad the mothership didn't see this BEFORE wasting so much precious R&D $$$.
This is Harley country. Not some freak show.
I cant believe this forum is still up.

ABSOLUTE TOTAL DISGRACE TO ALL REAL HARLEY RIDERS IF U THINK THIS GONNA SAVE HARLEY, U GUYS R DELUSIONAL and ON SOME REALLY GOOD DRUGS
Perhaps this part of the forum is not for you since it seems to trip your switch. Watch the insults.
We can always pull a trailer with a small Honda generator to charge the bike while we ride… I wondered how that would work. I thought about buying a F150 lightning and 3 Honda generators. Then I came to my senses.
My local HD dealer has a Livewire charging station. I saw an electric car of some sort being charged on it yesterday when I stopped in for some parts. Second time I saw it being used. The other time it was also a car being charged. The Livewire bike is a flop in my opinion; that's why it was spun off.
