First it is not a madder of better or worst HD factory seats are great. That does not mean they fit every ones ***. I watch people chasing the prefect seat over and over again and never find it. Personally I find the Corbin and Mustangs not very good.
On our 2016 RGU I put a hammock seat on it manly for my wife . We demoed one at the dealership she liked it. When I traded I kept the hammock.
Wife's first ride on the 2017 was with the stock seat. She said lets ride some more. That night she ask if it was ok to keep the factory seat on it. It made no difference to me. I had no issue with either.
Nice thing about HD. Go to a dealership they have demo seats put them on your bike and ride. Try before your buy. When we purchased the hammock we tried every seat they had just to be sure.
Did the same with a windshield on the 2017 I tried the one demo shield for a week.

I am actually OK with my seat. I do want something along the lines of a tallboy seat, but that's way down on my list of things I want to do. I had thought about getting a stock saddle from ebay or somewhere like that and having the extra stock seat customized by one of the many local seat shops in my area. That could be less expensive.
