Being used to my Road Kings suspension and tires I have not been happy with the setup on my new RG at all. I got with Howard and he set up His 2-2B for me. I set the sag and got out on the road today.
After awhile, I realized I was not paying attention to the shocks and how the new shocks felt. Seems I didn't feel the shocks at all, Lol. Great handling and nice riding. Thanks Howard!
no complaints with my OEM shocks on the King but for Ohlins that's a complete no brainer
Agreed, With a 16" rear and 17" front that serves up lots of sidewall on the tires, and top it off with a 13" shock the King offers a nice ride.
The Road Glide I have is fitted with a 18" rear and 19" front (rubber bands)and 12" shocks. that equates to a harsher ride big time. The Howards put me back on par my Road Kings ride with out a sacrifice in handling that those low profile tires provide.
