Looking Good! When you gunna insulate the inside of that garage door, from the Texas heat?
Thank you sir! I have the garage insulated and air conditioned, the garage door was the first thing I was going to insulate, however, where I live they require impact resistant garage doors for hurricanes. Lucky for me there is an R value built in to the door since it is foam filled to resist impact and wind load. Probably not the best insulation but the door faces North so it never gets direct sunlight. The garage stays very comfortable in the Summer months and my toys don't rust.

Nice! We just moved, and I went to Lowes and got a couple insulation kits and white tape like usual, and knocked it out in a few hours. But my actually my last few garages have all faced east or west.
It is a Freedom Shields recurve 18". You can call and speak with John, super nice guy and the quality is second to none. I have his shields on both of my bikes. I will share my review after today's ride. Can't wait! I have more toys to install before I ride however.

Man I might do that anyway, you can never have too much insulation! I imagine riding in HI is pretty awesome!

I agree, and those doors are very easy to insulate, and it only costs about one bill., and makes a difference with sound deadening as well.
Riding in HI is pretty nice, beautiful scenery, great weather, but surprisingly enough, some of the roads are pretty damn rough for a place that never freezes or gets snow.... But you can't really complain to much when you get to see these views everyday!
