That is the way it works. Not something you notice unless you are easily going into 6th, then the throttle blade is rolled back so you need to compensate.
A terrible issue that, IMO, needs sorting with a comprehensive tuning system, not a neutered on.

It can easily be sorted with the SE tuner. Something in the tuner made it this way, so it can fix it too.
The tune has a dead spot after shifting into 6th. Very noticeable unless I'm accelerating hard all the way through 6th. Under normal riding conditions as soon as I shift into 6th and let out the clutch, it's almost like one cylinder dies. The bike doesn't slow down or drop RPM, just feels like it loses half its power.

scratching my head here..my bike does not exhibit this condition, no drivability issues whatsoever, ..runs perfect, pulls strong & clean everywhere from the bottom to the top under all conditions..no hitches, glitches, hiccups, wheezes, sneezes, coughs, farts, zip, zilch, nada

Yeah I'm scratching my head too. It's not a big deal because it really isn't effecting anything. It's just annoying because I know it's something in the tune and it's not supposed to be like that. I'll ride back up there this weekend and get it squared away.

So what tuner do you have that will modify the throttle control in 6th gear?
