Default CB install

Installed a CB on my 17 Ultra Classic last night. Super easy. Less than an hour from start to finish. Local dealer wanted $278 to do it. Save the money and do it yourself.

Same with the XM module. Spent more time getting the front fairing off than I did installing the XM.

HD Bike-to-bike. Extremely simple, bolt in the bracket, bolt in the unit, plug it in. swap out the guts of the right-side switch housing. Install the antenna on the tour-pak. Done.

Took longer to find my TORX 27 bit than it did to install the whole thing. But that's what I get for not putting my tools away after I use them.

To save $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and give it to the stockholders. They figured we wouldn't notice. Wrong. But they certainly didn't waste any time charging a $600.00 price increase from the 2016 model year.

Thinking of doing this also. Is the antenna wire from the trunk to the CB already on the bike?

Would you mind putting together a parts list needed for the install?

I have the part numbers for the antenna and bike to bike module. I just need the part number for the antenna stud and the right switch pack guys.

Thanks!

For about the same price for the right hand switch with PTT button you can buy the lighted switch kit for both sides which will include the PTT button

Antenna Stud is 76000166. About a dollar.
Of course, you'll also need the cb antenna.
