I thought yours blew up and they denied the warranty claim because you put that lawnmower tuner on it.
Did you get it back up and running?
Yeah,,, dealer good will rebuilt the engine from the cam chest up. And the lawn mower tuner is back on the lawn mower engine. Oil pressure is good and the cylinders are nice and tight.

Just hit 10k. Only issue I have had is that when I would cold start it the oil pressure light would come on. Immediately restart the bike and it would turn off. Did a 5k Mobile 1 oil change of all 3 holes, no issue since, smooth as butter.

imagine if you had used Amsoil in all three holes, would have fixed the fluid transfer problem to Primary as well!!!..sorry, couldn't resist
Getting irritated with the dealership, Had a knocking noise from my M8, took it in , they say" we have to order a special tool to test the oil pressure. That was a week ago, get a call today, it's piston slap, have to order new pistons & sleeves, won't get those till next week. I asked them "Harley can't expedite them to u. They say O Harley won't, that's not how they do it. Wow, getting ridicules.
I bought a 2017 FLHXS. Really like the bike. Has anyone had any problem with the M8. So far so good for me but not many miles yet 2600.
Having got this far just on your own thread, you haven't had a poor response. If you delve into the previous threads, you may realize that this forum is 65% negative. You bought a Great bike with no apparent problems! Just keep riding and enjoy it!
My 2017 Limited with the M8, cylinder wall came apart and pieces down in the engine. Dealer is waiting to see if Corporate will let me have a new engine or opt to rebuild. I will be some kind of pissed if they don't replace the engine on my new bike. I have 6000 miles on it and always service by dealer. Bad enough I will be out of business for weeks getting this resolved.
