Picked up the Road Glide Ultra today and I must say what a bike, pics are coming, the only 2 issues i have with it is the glare off of the info center and then the wind knocking us around, what windshields are you all using, I am 6'3, have been looking at freedom windshields.
You are looking in the right direction. Freedom Shields is the way to go! No distortion, thicker, polished edges. Plus you can try them out and send them back as long as you don't take off the shipping plastic. Here's mine.
6'3" likely you may want some thing taller or a lower seat but that has it's own issues at your height. Keep in mind what works on a RG may not be right for a RGU they sit a bit different.
You can Demo windshields at most dealers. Try everything they have cost you nothing. Even if they do not have what you need you know more about what does not work for you.
Enjoy the ride.
Congrats on your new bike i change my windshield went with Long Ride Shields nice stuff great prices went with one of there tallest shield tinted less then a hundred bucks love it blocks the wind great no clare. Going to order a shorter one soon. Ride Safe
I understand the glare off the infotainment screen is a problem with RG's, but a few owners I have talked too say the type of sunglasses you wear need to have anti glare lens which help.
