I got 95 HP out of my stage II. But at the possible cost of my warranty depending on how friendly a given dealer service department is feeling. You can see spec's in my sig.
It's just a goal number, I'd rather have 110 hp. I rode a friends CVO , and vs. my 103 SG , it was just more fun & a blast to ride. . I said I don't care about EPA stuff only because I feel they've went way over board. If I can something to UNCHOKEthe bike, why wouldn't I ??
Well, technically if you do anything to your bike that exceeds EPA reg's, Harley is supposed to nix your drivetrain warranty.
So... if you are, in fact, concerned about keeping your warranty intact, that should answer your "why wouldn't I?" question.
Just playing the devils advocate here, would you feel like you have failed if you get 99.99 hp and would you feel like you are doing too much if you get 100.01 HP. inquiring minds want to know. LOL
Like it has been said, many many times, torque is what gets your *** moving in the lower RPMs and HP keeps it moving in the higher RPMs. My M8, with the torque cam only makes about 90hp but it makes 111ft lbs of torque at 3600rpm. If I'm on a highway and need to pass or climb a hill, I just twist the grip...Horsepower can't do that unless you ride around at 4500-5000 all the time.

Ha , I'm just wanting to find out what others have done. I can't get the 2018 for 10 weeks anyways , so I'm just researching. Really that 100 number I threw out was just a target, I'd be happy with 95 if it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I'm pretty Sure I'll get the torque cam though, thanks.
I have 106hp and a 113tq with a stage II, but it's a turd. I know what I have to do to get what I want. HP does mean squat unless the torque starts at idle.
Really ? Do realize How Much the EPA chokes these bikes ? Comparing that to your marriage is well.....I'll take the high Road.
LMFAO!!! What??? It was just an analogy bro, and certainly had nothing to do with my marriage, lol! You know what an analogy is, right? A little sensitive are we? Here..... I'll just leave this here for you......
And as far as the EPA and MY warranty is concerned, I'm running a full SE Stage IV Kit with 120 Hp and 117 Tq, (Chart available upon request), with 3 years of extended warranty for a total of 5 years on everything. So you can get all the numbers you want AND still have full coverage, if you choose to. EPA or not....... I really doubt I'll need any more power than that, but if after the 5 years are up, I'll do whatever my little ol' heart desires.
