RCX 4.5 slip ons- $629, I installed, 20 mins piece of cake. HD high flow AC kit - $179, I installed, also piece of cake. Street tuner - $299 for tuner and $40 for dealer to install. The tuner should be an easy install also but it was an unexpected buy when my bike was in for service so I just told them to put it on.

In Italy ...
I have:
1. V&H Hi Output slips on - 900 USD
2. AC HD Ventilator - 460 USD
3. V&H FuelPak3 - 460 USD

Not so cheap.... and finally I installed last week V&H Power Dual for 820 USD

He used slip ons and the HD tuner. Warranty shouldn't void for that.

Also, bought my stage 1 3 weeks ago. Had 250 bucks on gift cards, so that covered the air breather and I paid 299 for the HD tuner. Already have S&S slip ons.

Installed the AC and tuned myself.

V&H FP3, $350.00 Free Shipping, No Tax
HD Ventalator A/C, $322.44 Inc. Tax

Total $1071.44

Then it all went bad. Warranty voided over FP3 because of HD junk production. Bad oil pump and way over sized cylinder bores. Dealer stepped up and rebuild motor.

Stage II Dealer Installed While rebuilding HD's junk production. No Labor Charge.

TQ Cam Kit, $419.75 Inc. Tax
Cam Bearing Upgrade, $21.50 Inc. Tax
HD Tuner, $322.44 Inc. Tax,,, Total waist of money
HD Tuner Cable Set, $32.19 Inc. Tax,,, See above
______________

$795.88

Decat OEM Head Pipe, $0.00 <<<<< Best HD mod,,, Free.

The Screamin Eagle air cleaner, Street Cannon slipons, and SEPST. Cost was MSRP (see the HD site) plus 10% off. I really just wanted to reply to say, if you are the least bit handy with a wrench and physically able, don't pay the dealer to do this work, you can easily handle it yourself. Watch a few YouTube videos, borrow some wrenches if need be, and make a night of it in your garage. It is easy stuff and really helps to bond you with the bike. The biggest thing to watch out for IMHO is to be careful with the loctite on the breather bolts. Make sure that you don't put so much on that it blocks the passage. Other than that, easy peasy.
Side note: In the 'old days' we'd do the stage 1 hardware and they'd require some nebulous flash of the ECM which may or may not have done anything. Typically this was about $150. Now they have moved towards selling tuners so that you can do it yourself. The SEPST requires a Windows PC and access cable. The upside is that the SEPST has a learning mode and you don't have to go back to the dealer for flashing your ECM for parts upgrades for which they have canned maps. The down side is the higher price of entry if all you want is a stage one; the total kit will run greater than $150 not incl the computer hardware. If all you want is the hardware, then having the dealer add the parts and simply flash the bike might save you some money. YMMV.

I do all the work on my bike so I think I can handle the job easily, I was worried about the warranty issues.
at this point I'm thinking about doing the pipes, air cleaner and the hd tuner to keep the warranty intact then let the dealer do the torque cam and call it a day. For now..

which tuner did you get? Does it have the auto tune feature or just canned maps from hd?
other then sound are the changes noticeable power wise?
