Ghosts in the machine
Well, two months in and 1500 miles my rgu check engine light came on at Sturgis. Took it to BH Harley this morning coincidentally that's where I bought it from. They got me right in which was great. They said the two codes displayed have been seen before but Harley doesn't yet know what's causing them or how to service them. They cleared the codes and engine light, told me it's not degrading the bike performance or causing any issue and to go ride it and have fun. To steal a line from wil Smith's movie IRobot, sounds like they have ghosts in the machine. It's under warranty so screw it, if it grenades it's fixed for free. Ride on!

Don't think your engine is going to blow up because the check engine lamp came on and threw a couple of codes.The check engine lamp has to do with drivability and is why its a yellow warning lamp unlike the red warning lamp of oil pressure.So ride on with the thought bike might quit running but its not going to blow.
