Speed Limiter?
Seriously the reality of the workshop test with a bellowing and vibrating beast at full strain to spin the wheel and high compression engine,at unreasonably high rotation would be enough to convince any reasonable person, that there was no arresting force at play.
To intimate that the controls if they exist, could activate at 107 mph and that some strange energy would continue to propell the rotations and speed, incrementally to 140 mph is insane.
Anyway some more recent on road tests continue to refute the as yet undescribed functionality of any speed limiter. My 114 high compression stage 3 ran 115 mph in 6th gear,
More significantly the speed increased to 122 mph @ 5400 rpm in 5th gear. This clearly indicates that the speed is only limited by the power,or in this case lack of power on the standard engine.More likely an urban myth which could originate from the Manufacturer.
That's all I am going to add to this subject other than to say the tests were done at 1200 ft altitude and I put another 800 happy miles on my SGS in the last two days.Over and Out!
Maybe not on your side of the world for some reason, but you do have weird stuff coming out of that place anyway, so carry on.
I have tried everything to see or feel it in action without "seeing the light"
At 122 mph my bike also seems to be a non believer!
You're barking up the wrong tree on the latest origin Theory! All Europe,Middle East and Africa bikes are built in America and distributed through Harley Davidson Great Britain.
Some men you just can't reach.
So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it.
I don't like it any more than you men...
175KPH is 108.74 MPH.

When winter is finally over up here I'll strap my go pro to my chest and get some video of my speedometer with the my gps mounted next to it. That will be a few months yet before the snow is gone.
I'm curious now how much my speedo is actually out.
If your willing to supply the VIN from your bike I can pull the OEM calibration for your bike and check it. Then place that very calibration into a test bike here on the dyno and run the test to see what happens. If your not willing to supply the VIN put your stock calibration back into the bike and just give me the calibration Part Number and I can do it from that. My guess would be your calibration P/N is 41000631. This would tell if your calibration is different or not. Your VIN can be found on the right side of the frame neck and will start with 5HD1.....

I like the analogy, you're the intolerant gang boss and I'm Paul Newman.Great
Almost without exception Harley speedos over read buy at least 4%.Going by the Info screen speed will not help as it is driven by the same proxmity pulse speed sensor as the Speedo,as you will find if you unplug it!
This is obviously so that the two instruments can symultaniously, fool you as to how "fast" Harley's are!
