Putting Progressives on it will make you miss the stock shocks quick you will not like them, while a high end and expensive shock they are some hard riding bastards.

Think Ohlins and yes they are going my RK before spring.

I was always told that another inch would make a real difference. The Ohlins proved it to me... Howard is the man.

Change out to some 10w oil, your suspension will soften right up

NO DOUBT Progressive is a good way to go. Go look at the info on them. We are sold and have been now for several cross country jaunts.

Progressives are no better then HD premium shocks.

I have used progressive 944 once, for 6 months. Waist of money.

12 inch shocks are harsh and thats what is on CVO's and Street glides and road glides that are X models.

I have tired several brands of shocks.

Ohlins are my preferred.

I put 13" Ohlin HD-159's on my CVO road king huge improvement. But then I noticed the front was not that good. Now have Legends Axeo cartridges in the front. Great riding bike.

I too put 13” Ohlins 159s on my 2015RGS - when my M8 version arrives it will be wearing them too
