modified m8 air filter cover
Some one modified their m8 stock air filter awhile back & I'd like to see how they did it. I've done a few searches but can't find anything. They cut a hole in the lower outside face part of the filter cover & installed a screen. They did a very nice job. Thanks

Perhaps it was more of a looks thing. If you keep the stock black ac cover, that mod looks really good. Otherwise, personally I hated that black cover.

I spaced my air cleaner cover outwards about 1/4 inch first and then another 1/8 with round spacers from agricultural tractor shop the inlet has a slight whistle now I can hear over the motor, I wanted fresh air feeding in to my motor, the stock system had a tendency to pull warm air the as the only option the bike is an 18 Street Bob , I'd have the High flow unit already but my local messed up the order .
