Most of you are familiar with my trials and tribulations.
Just got back from a 1500 mile trip to the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, and Nashville for the Music City MC Rally (which was pretty lame). Bike performed flawlessly. Even on an absolutely brutal 570 mile ride home from Nashville today. Temps reached 99, we were doing 80 all the way, not one hiccup. Bike has about 3400 miles on it now. (that said, my 2017 FLTRU had 5600 miles on it, including a round trip to Sturgis from Michigan, when it blew up for the first of 3 times)
Yeah I like mine pretty well. 6K miles. No issues other than the empty tank thing. Oh yeah there's the gas gauge thing. It will give you a warning about being low on fuel and if you need help finding a gas station. I consistently have another gallon left in the tank when this happens. I guess I can live with that. The wife absolutely loves it. I have a hard time getting chores done because she wants to ride somewhere. Another damn problem I have to get over.
