Again, why should they do ANYTHING as long as people keep linin' up to buy their crap?
That kind of behavior would be for a company that actually gives a "F" about their customers. That ain't the MoCo's way of thinkin'. Never has been, never will be.
They'd rather go broke and shut down before they do anything to help their loyal customers.
Well, if this keeps up they will go broke because no one will buy their bikes. Will be a sad day if it ever gets to the point where you try to trade your Harley for a yamaha or a honda and the salesman just laughs at you.

...that's kind of happening now. Saw a multi-brand shop that advertises "we buy bikes" and I contacted them before I sold my '15 RK & '07 883L locally about purchasing them & he said "My shop isn't interested in buying any Harleys-too many problems"
The MoCo is relying on these stupid band-aid fixes until the bikes are past the 24 month bumper to bumper warranty so that the problem with then be on the owners wallet to truly fix their M8 Mototcycles.
OP- Good thing it happen within your 2 year warranty.

It is happening in spades. The used market is already flooded with used M8's. Most dealers in this state don't want the used Harleys. They tell you up front we can't give you anything for the Harley as you look across there used stock and there's unwanted pig iron all over the place.
Sorry to hear this OP. Glad it's still under warranty
A question :
Once your bike is repaired, would the sumping issue go away for good ? What if you go back to 4000rpm after repair ? Would the issue happen again ?
Buddy of mine with a 17 RGS bought it with dealer installed stage 4. Went through three engines due to the same issue you're having. After the third engine blew up they voided his warranty because he had full V/H pipes.

Sad, but so true. Dealers around here have far more used m8s than twin cams.
The bike's now at the dealer, will post updates.
Interestingly, the bike actually starts and runs, but it sounds different and smells burnt when engine running. (service adviser noticed the smell also).
Also can hear metallic noise coming from motor/ trans areas, that were not there before.
I think the promblem is caused by the flywheel/crankshaft. Proberly they cant handle the power that is generated by the stage upgrades. Un other oilpump seems more like a band-aid to me. Just my 2$ cents
