Will my M8 make it.
So going to try a 3500 plus mile trip from Milwaukee Wisconsin to the Black Hills, than from there to Bearthooth pass, and after that Pikes Peak than home.
Every time try to take it on a trip something happens. Key West head bolt snapped 250 miles in Still went all the way and back.
Smokey mountains valve seats falling out ( had to use ex wifes boyfriends CVO) it's me and him on this trip so cannot borrow his bike.
I have put 2000 miles on the last 3 weeks so I hope it will.

Hope the bike holds out.. Horrible feeling not trusting your ride.. Also... STAY COOL... you are going to be riding through some serious heat. Stay hydrated...

I just did Seattle to SF to LA, then to DC and back Home. 7728 miles in three weeks. Bike is awesome. In a couple weeks Im headed to Montana for a week road trip. Ya never know what the road will bring, Just get on it enjoy the day. Good times!

Did 6000 last year in two weeks from Charleston to Yellowstone, Cody, Beartooth, Chief Joseph, Sturgis, and then home.
Transferred 18 ounces of trans oil, just topped off at around 4500 miles, and never dumped the primary. Just kept going. No other issues and I wouldn't hesitate to take it out again and do the same ride.
