Engine oil "OK" page question.

I deal with many types of sensors on aircraft. Some are always active and alert while others wait for the system to poll them then they respond. Displays sometimes show the last response until something triggers the sensor.

^^^This, but I actually check mine at the end of each ride to get a good, accurate 'hot' reading. Every time. Never assume.

Sometimes when I'm riding I'll switch the page on my display over to the page that shows the outside temp, EITMS and the engine oil. Sometimes when I switch over it will display "check oil"and then it switches to "OK" after a second or two. Sometimes it just displays "OK". I guess i don't understand why it doesn't always display Ok. I always switch pages with the bike in motion. if there were an issues it would make sense that "check oil" would be displayed and it wouldn't switch over to "OK".
Nothing to worry about. It's just the way the system works.
