I got an Oil change last week and went for a drive today put on about 200miles. I decided to check the oil level while i was wiping the bike down 3.5hrs after the drive. I noticed the level is a little above the fill mark. Shouldn't it be between the lines? Is this a problem that they may have overfilled, I'm not a mechanic but wouldn't think it would be a good thing.
"engine oil level should be checked only when engine is at normal operating temperature"
If it's a little bit overfilled it's not the end of the world ... worst that can happen is that the oil gets thrown out through the fill cap, since it didn't happen during your 200 mile ride you should be OK.
Start it. Warm it. Then check it. Don't wait 3.5 hours.
OK now IC, the last time i checked it cold it was where it was suppose to be but i guess you are suppose to check it when warm, didn't read it right before (manual). Thanks for helping out an idiot!
