I owned a Fat Bob a few years back, traded it for a BMW GS. Traded that for a second GS. Recently traded that for an 18 Heritage.
The fat bob had handling from the stone age, especially when compared to the GS. The Heritage is a paradigm shift from the fat bob, but still not as good as the GS. The reason I moved from BMW was because I felt uninvolved with the BMW, whereas the Harley takes a bit more riding. The Harley gives me more pride of ownership; the BMW gave me German efficiency.
My point is that BMW are competitors to Harley, perhaps even more so here in the UK. Hats off to Harley for their work to improve the product.
HD will never ever design/produce/sell anything that even remotely comes close to a Toyota Prius. I own one. A 2013. 48 MPG for 176,000 miles and I've done nothing but change the oil in it every 10K. Those dip ***** can't even produce a reliable twin cylinder air cooled irrigation pump that will last 30K.
that explains so much about Moleboy..hope he uses Toyota performance parts instead of aftermarket so he doesn't void his warranty
a Corolla costs thousands less, gets almost 40 mpg, better performance and doesn't look so freaking dorky

totally agree; the 18 Heritage is a huge step forward. A very good bike, especially considering it's design mission. Would also recommend you test ride a K1600B or Bagger, big difference from the GS, yes, you stay involved with this bike.
