Im glad they are making you right too. I havent installed my new one yet because I threw some job weld on old and am having stage 5 installed on my bike (120 with heads) and figured they can do it then. Are they makin you return old pipe or telling you to keep all shielding and tips?

I had an issue with Freedom, the ceramic coating was gouged during shipping because of the way they were packed. It was a real nice packing job except a clip from one slipon rubbed against the second slipon. I called the warranty dept for touch up paint and was told that they can't be patched, there was no offer made by warranty to do anything.
I called the next day and got a sales guy who eagerly offered to send me a complete new exhaust. I said do you want me to ship back the scratched ones? "No,I'll just send you new pipes" was the reply. The names I forgot but the sales guy was great to deal with, the warranty guy just hoped I would go away.
So I ended up having a great experience, the slipons were for my V rod and they sound amazing.
Good news, new pipe arrived yesterday as promised. It appears they redesigned the pipe with a new mounting bracket and the pipe is now a three piece design instead of a single pipe. Should allow for plenty of movement without any stress on the pipe. I impressed with the new design and the way Freedom stood behind their product. And they did not ask for the return of the defective pipe. Hope this helps others that may have an issue. Thumbs up to Freedom Exhaust.
