I’m having a problem with my gas gauge I noticed yesterday when I filled up that the gauge is reading a bar off full even though the tank is topped off. Is anyone else having this problem?
I just purchased a 2019 Fatboy 114...... very nice machine, it does what is expected except when I filled up for the first time, the gas gauge was at about 1/4.....I filled it up and the gauge only read 1/2. I drained it and it went down to empty... refilled it and again only 1/2 is displaying. Problems starting after 7 days
Not a good feeling for a brand new bike

Guys, Harley fuel gauges are second only to boat fuel gauges as being the most inaccurate instrument on the face of the earth. I get reserve lights with two gallons left lol.
A buddies wife has a 19 slim, her fuel gauge was all over the map, but there was some condensation under glass. The dealer blamed the condensation as the problem with the fuel gauge and replaced under warranty.
I have recently figured out that if I fill my gas with the bike on the jiffy stand, seems to get more gas in the tank and the bars go all the way to full.
When I fill the bike standing straight up, then I am missing one bar on fuel gauge.
So at this point, seems all is well on my fatboy fuel gauge.

If any consolation, my Freewheeler is always missing one bar on the fuel gauge... I am jealous of all 2 wheelers beingable to get a full tank, think moco decided jiffy stand on freewheelers would result another EPA fine do I have to be resolved to be the guy who always need more gas...
