Anyone have one of these on their 2017+ Ultra? Does it work as described? Waste of money? Pic and feedback are encouraged. Thanks in advance.

Do you feel any benefits from installation on warmer days?

yes, quite a bit for the wife on keeping the heat away from her when stopped. It’s also better for me, just not quite as dramatic of a difference

I had it on a Stage IV 117. Its a worthy upgrade if you’re expectations are reasonable. Its not cheap but it does pull heat away from you and your passenger below 14 mph. It helps but it won’t eliminate the rear cyl and cat heat completely. Its worth noting that if you are thinking about a 2:1 exhaust (like a D&D Fatcat) in the future, you’ll need to remove the Coolfan. Some exhausts won’t fit with the Coolfan.

I'll chime in. I have one. It works extremely well and here's how I know. I had some warranty work done at the dealer and when I left, I thought, man this bike is hot! What happened was the tech didn't "re-flash" the ecu to let it know it has the fan. This also brings up the point that you can add a fan yourself, but you cannot get it to work without going to the dealer.

I say GET ONE!!! Install it yourself, very easy and then pay your dealer for the Flash... I think mine was $20 for the flash....

Took me about 1/2 hour to install once I had the saddlebag, seat and side cover removed.
