What would be a reasonable expectation on pricing for a leftover 2018 RGU
i traded my 17 sgs for an 18 sgs + ~$2300
$21.7k was the selling price if i remember right. They do play with numbers, they gave me more on my 17 then they sold it to me brand new. On paper.
Whatever you can negotiate. What others got has zero bearing on what you will get - different dealer, different region, different economics etc. Dealer isnt going to say "Oh, Fred from East Bagadonia got $2K off? OK, you do too!"
I paid retail sticker for my '18 RGU but I got a super killer deal on my '16 Ultra Classic with 46K on the clock. Probably worth ~$5k discount. Paid for the stage III at least.
My dealer knocked off $2500 and I got 1.9% interest. I was on my way out east with my family for my wife and is 15 year anniversary. We had a little extra time before lunch and was passing my local DH dealer so we just popped in to look around. My wife doesnt ride or have any interest in bikes but after he told me what he could do for me even my wife said maybe its a good idea to buy it now 😍
needless to say it was the best anniversary I have ever had!!!
I bought new 2018 RGS Sunday for 22,250 out the door. They had 9 of the wicked red. Now they have 8. Close to the same list price as rgu.
I don't get why the dealers have several leftover wicked red bikes that is the best color of the model year. I am starting to see a lot of them getting bought now and posted on social media pages.

I agree...I just got back from "Customer Appreciation Day" at my local dealer and he had 2 Wicked Red on the floor.
