Default "SUMPING" needs explained

Hi guys. As an owner of a 2018 softie, AND avid forum reader, I don't understand SUMPING. No mechanic either! Lol. How does oil migrating from the tranny make the engine blow up? I have this mindset, that, the engine oil pan/ crankcase is a separate system from the other two(primary, tranny) and those egually as separate. I can possibly see tranny oil getting into the primary from a bad seal or something maybe, but that would result in an overfull primary and a dry unlubed tranny. Both bad. But how in the world would that time up an engine?
Sorry for being an idiot, but??? Lol.

I hear as long as you cruise and ride it below 4k rpm and no hard riding lower risk of sumping. It all depends on your riding style if I knew you had to baby the M8 motor I probably would've waited for a fix before buying one.

I heard that 15000 people get hurt in the shower every year. So I stopped taking them.

Ride your damn bike any way you want. IF you have a problem deal with it then. There's a very slim chance that you will have a problem. If you do have a motor that sumps. It's best to find out while under warranty??? No?

I read an article that stated "most accidents happen within 1/4 mile from your home", so I moved.
