Hi Doc, do you think there's a point where you've gone beyond the billet cat?

Just watched the HD cool Springs (117) cam/pipe test, interesting Billet cat v Khromewerks with that comp cam

Star racing still uses this pipe on his builds bigger than mine

S&S oil pump/camplate, (already fitted)

not sure what to expect as only seen this with a Bassani 2-1, lets just say result was exceptional, would be stoaked with 10/10 less
Mine will be similar.
S&S 124" bb kit
SE 64mm (intake ported by Ward)
5.5 SE injectors
Stock heads
S&S 475 chain drive
S&S lifters & pushrods
Feuling oil pump & camplate
D&D billet cat
Powervision dyno tune
Clutch? (possibly Rekluse)

Am interested in seeing OP's final results as well as yours. Will be an interesting comparison between the three.

What was everyone’s baseline run? My 114 did 94hp and 121 tq. with only a Bassani road rage pipe, otherwise, stock M8. Going with the 128 build, will post details and results.

Fuel Moto Outlaw slip on's

HD latest oil pump and bulletin Seal kit

will post results within 1-2 weeks,
interested to see results as compared to the Fuel Moto builds advertised
Fuel Moto advertises around 145/145 for this setup, they advertise 150/150 using their XXX 2" stepped headers.
My builder claims more like 130/130 ,( I think he is being conservative.)
any guess as to what results will be??
What AIM lock up clutch did you go with and what's the torque rating for that AIM clutch?

I went with the AIM SDR clutch with the S.E. 1275NM springs,
if it slips, then I have the AIM Springs that will hold up to 160, when used with the spring shims.

Whats the deck height coming in at, the supplied S&S gaskets measure base 0.014" head 0.030" i have
just wonder if it's close enough to the 11-1 comp

Good question, but I'm not doing the work (no time).
Am not too worried about the deck height, because I'm not chasing numbers, although I am hoping it's around 140/140 with a tabletop tq curve.
I have read of the S&S kits with varying deck height, but I would rather leave the cylinders be and not have to machine them at this time.
Maybe on the next build I will decide to balance and blue print the damn thing...

Got some confirmation in the other 124 thread ,S&S have it covered pretty much with the supplied gaskets to give 11-1 with about 0.015" in the hole

Yes,
this makes sense, their kits were initially advertised @ 10.5:1
now, they are selling them advertised @ 11:1 , I called S&S directly to confirm this...
they must have made some adjustments to the base gasket and head gasket thickness....
