I would think so. A D&D would likely add a couple more and smooth out the curve but I don’t do 2 into 1s. It’s ridiculously responsive at every rpm point and delivered exactly what I wanted. Not a dead spot or lag present. I really think more cam might be even better because it’s all on as soon as you let the clutch out with this 650lb bike.

With the RS552 having a 29 degree intake valve close, I think something with similar valve events and a mid 30s closing point might be the ticket. Bringing on the power a couple hundred RPM later is what I’m thinking. Just speculation though.

AWESOME!
That F35 is fixing to start a fire in the world of cams and absolutely a beast!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks. The F35A is a great max effort for smaller displacement cam IMO. Will work extremely well in a more horsepower oriented 117, 119, 122. George says "traps more air than any cam that fits a stock engine." Needs springs either his PSI or Kibblewhites so its not a drop in like a 30 30 or others but I haven't seen this horsepower out of other 114s. This motor is stock bottom end stock valves unported heads but cut 15 thou plus Cometic gasket to give it an extra 1/2 point of compression. For me if I am buying big bore slugs n jugs I am also doing the crank and heads and a pipe. This adds up to a lot more coin. So from where I was this was a good budget build compared to going the big bore route. This bike also benefits from shorter gearing which the F35A and shorter stroke seems to really like. Won't be the fastest bike on the street but it does power wheelie the first three gears.
