[/ QUOTE]Motul 7100 20W50 I've always used this oil on my bikes, the manufacturer says that this oil is very stable and does not have much hot or cold volume variation, was it placed 3.8L correct?
[/ QUOTE]
Friend I am Gead Klein and in the Klein Family I do not know any Bob RR.
Adding oil to a Harley is not brain surgery people. First, RTFM. Then whatever you do, do not overthink what you just read. Do it by the numbers if you have to. If you still can not figure it out you should probably sell the motorcycle and get a bicycle that does not need oil.
Of course, there is that pesky chain lube thing which could be good for a couple of pages.
thank you friends for helping me, complex service this that in months I asked hundreds of questions to various experts and always got different answers, I did within the logic that I found the most correct, today I finished my stage 1 and I will rotate ....,,
Measure the oil the same way every time through the same process every time. I have two methods hot while riding when I make my first stop or after a ride idling it upright for around two minutes before I stop it and checking when it's been cold for a few hours. These things measure all over the place , I genuinely believe that's why some people have issues.
What you dont want, is to see the hot level halfway up the check upright blocks when its on the jiffy stand. This happened to me after my last dealer service. I sucked out a pint of oil and now its good. SMH
