I’m going to replace my lifters when I swap my cam, just wondering what the general consensus is with regards to pre-filling lifters. Yea or nay

or just st soak them?

I don't know if just soaking them will get rid of air bubbles. Using some sort of syringe will help push them out. In reality you're going to adjust the push rods the same no matter.

I bought a syringe to fill them, also Im Using my stock push rods and not adjustable ones

was just wondering if prefilling is a better choice than letting them just pump up during initial start up

I would say yes. In most cases it is better to have a part lubed than to run it dry. They are easy to inject. I would also coat the outside well with assembly lube.

I just installed a set of Wood Performance directional lifters and the paperwork said not to pre-oil them. Not sure why but they were extremely quite on initial startup and on every startup since.
