Default Boom GTS - Move back version?

I updated my boom GTS to the latest version last week and now find if I have a text come in while riding I cannot read it on screen if moving!

This is a new update as I could previously, I can still listen to the text but not read it if I am moving!

Can I revert to the earlier version and get this feature back?

Not sure reading while riding is the best thing to be doing. H-D has enough lawsuits coming their way for any number of things.

Yes, you can install the previous software if you have it. Good idea to always keep previous versions on a stick or your computer. At least until you know the latest version is working the way you want!

I don't think so. If you put a thumb drive with a previous version in the USB port, it will recognize it as an older version and not install it because the version on the bike will be newer.

I could be wrong though.

You can install previous versions with no issue. Worked the same on the previous Boom units. I reinstalled the previous version on my '19 because I was having issues with the latest software.

I do have the earlier version, i will give it a try a try.

It was nice being able to see to see the text on screen, rather than have to keep repeating it through my speakers to make sure I understood it correctly

I've never been able to read the text while moving on the screen in any versions. Not sure if it did when stopped or not. You sure you were able to see them. Mater of fact, any of the vehicles that I own that support a text function...NONE of them will being up the text, they all just read it.
