Can anyone tell me if the MK45 mufflers can compare in sound to the 4” Rhineharts?
Ive always liked Rhineharts but have been reading good things about MK45
I personally like the S&S sound better. Deeper IMO. I've also heard the Rhineharts might cost some low end torque, but have no personal experience with that.
I have a couple of videos with my MK's on youtube if you're interested.

Thanks for the feed back. It’s nice to have a bunch of people with the same bike to get first hand info from that has experienced these things already. I’m sure everyone knows how frustrating it could be trying to make a decision on an expensive item solely on the sound you hear on YouTube videos or looking at Dyno charts. I deplugged my stock pipes and got good sound but just not quite where I want to be with level and tone.
I am going to most likely get the fuel moto sp header after the MK 45.

A good lopey cam will really get you some sound. The M8 will never sound like previous harley engines though.
I know exhaut is extremely subjective and what I like others may hate and vice versa. I ran the MK's on my 2017 SGS along with 5 other sets of slip ons. The MK was one of my least favorites, I just did not care for the tone, had a weird flappy/popping sound especially on deceleration. The idle is non existent with them unless you have a cam. My bike did not have a cam and it literally sounded like a car idling to me, smooth and quiet. I know a lot of guys run them and love them so I mean no disrespect what so ever, just passing along MY opinion based on MY ears. I have no experience with Rineharts on the M8 so I can not speak on those.
I have had Rinehart Slimline Duals with 4 in. Mufflers on my 18 RGS since it was new.Sounded OK but definetly lacked that Rinehart Crack.Rinehart recently came out with the HP Baffles for the M8,For $110 I got a set,What a difference Has that Rinehart Bark like it should Anlike the True Duals I had on Previous Bikes.I am Happy now Sounds Good .

Any good videos of those rhineharts with the new baffles?
I've had both and chose the MK'45's. Deeper rumble plus I liked that I could put the Db baffles in or out within a 2 minute time window. With my RS468 cam, they have the perfect tone for my ear. Again as say before, sound is very subjective.
