This feature wouldn’t do anything for me personally as I keep my bike in gear in case the vehicle behind me decided not to stop.

It's good feature should be helpful no need to hold front brake and try to use throttle at the same time.

Whether you're in gear or not it doesn't matter. The bike senses you're stopped on an incline, it holds the brake for you. Plain and simple.

So, I guess it does do something for you: it allows you to remove your foot and/or hand from the brake(s) and be even more prepared for the rear-ender heading your way!

ABS is the only nanny control I want. Traction control, anti wheelie, 12 ride modes, double clutch transmission (automatic) and etc. etc. Makes us dependent on technology. That one reason I love my '03 Sportster, its old school.

Our car has it, and Inthi I it’s a great feature. I filled out on of the HD surveys a few yeas ago, and indicated this was a good feature. Did you ever have to start out on a steep incline? This feature is great for that.

I'd rather not have ABS on my 19 SGS. 03 Sporster old school? LOL Would you like to ride my 1972 Sportster? LOL You shift with your right foot and brake with the left. It hardly had brakes till I put a newer disk brake front end on it. 72 was last year for drum brakes front and rear. The longer you held the front brake the closer to the grip it got as the aluminum drum got warm and expanded.

I would use the heck out of that feature. Especially when I'm in the mountains. Not that I'm not capable, just would be nice to have.
