I took delivery of my 19 in April of 19 so I assumed mine didn’t have the latest and greatest pump in it so when mine got a 22x install I installed the new pump. Seems to be pumping oil as it hasn’t blown up in the 3 miles I have ridden it since the install.

I just want to confirm that 62400248 is the latest version complete oil pump.

Im having my dealer do a cam upgrade, and while they are in there, I’m having them install the latest oil pump. He ordered:
62400242 Oil pump assy for twin cooled
62400245 Oil pump cover

But these seem to be components of the 62400248, and does not include the 8 lobe gerotor.

if they ordered 62400248, is that everything you need to install the latest oil pump?

Part number 62400248 is a kit for twin-cooled bikes and includes:

62400055 Gerotor Assy, Feed (8-lobe)
62400242 Oil Pump Assy, Oil
62400245 Oil Pump Assy, Cover

So yes, that is all you will need...

Thanks , that helped a lot. I’m concerned it was hard for my service writer to figure that out. But, they now agreed to order the 62400248. 👍
