Sorry guys, I'm never on this site anymore.
Two things that I did that fixed the issue (I'm not sure which one did though):
- I had the dealer replace the usb cable from the back of the radio to the glove box
- I switched over to an Apple cable
Try switching to an OEM cable from Apple first and see if that does the trick. If not, make an appointment at your dealer to replace the USB cable.

FIXED! I have had a similar disconnect issue for a few months using a Google Pixel phone. Nothing changed on the bike, but my phone would disconnect within 15-45 seconds of connecting to the bike while playing audio. I validated with an old iPod and it stayed connected to Bluetooth without any issues. Google released a new security update for May 2021 and after installing this on my phone, the problem went away completely. I tried so many work-arounds and none of them had a positive effect. So glad to find out it was just a simple phone update to fix the problem, just wish it didn't take 2-3 months for Google to sort out the problem.
