Okay, I did a search for this and couldn't find anything....
Like the subject says, I'll be listening to tunes on my phone through the USB port on my '19 RGS when it'll start disconnecting and trying to reconnect back and forth until I turn the bike off. When that happens I can't even bluetooth to my phone anymore.
I have the latest firmware (which is far from perfect but that's a whole other story).
That happened to me once, and I restarted my iPhone and it's been good ever since. And you should un-pair the phone to the BOOM, there may be a conflict.
I have had a similiar issue which turned out to be the USB cable coming from the radio. My dealer said it is happening more often to the 18's and 19's.

Lord help me, just tried to read thru the Boom manual, there's like a million things you can do with this thing...probably will use the radio, iTunes loaded on my old iPhone 6 and maybe GPS occasionally..haven't even turned the radio on yet or done anything with it..mostly just look at tire pressure display cuz it's cool..love riding the bike but am quickly reminded why I loved my Road King so much..less is more for the most part with my lazy @$$.
I have the same issue with an iPhone XS and my GTS unit. It happens randomly. Sometimes it kicks me out of carplay with no explanation and sometimes the audio just cuts out and then returns after a few minutes.
I am trying to experiment with different usb cables (between the phone and the bike's GPS connector) - will let you know what I find out.
Would love to know if anyone had to have the cable with the female USB connector (installed on the bike) replaced.

Cool. Keep me posted and I'll be sure to do the same.
