Anyone put wild 1 518s on a road king special? Pics if you have please. Trying to figure out what Ill need to get these on. Wild one suggests 6 over brake and clutch lines. They were unsure if wiring would need extending. I have zero technical knowledge so Ill be paying to have these installed, but Id like to know what Ill need before I write that check. Thanks in advance.
I had them on my 2011 RK and loved them. Had to extend the wires for both controls. I didn't change the brake or clutch cable. Your clutch may or may not reach.
Full lock the controls just clear the tank with the way I had my bars turned down.
I put them on my 2017 road king special.They were the black 518s & I didnt have to change wiring or cables.I did have a problem with the turn signals.I had to make up a special bracket.I f you look look at the road king special thread you will be able to locate my pictures.Good luck. Update sorry I put the 508 B on mine,but according to wild 1 website the 508 has 16 inches of pullback & the 518 has 14.25 inches of pullback .So it shouldnt be a problem.
