S&S 475 gear drive cam.

S&S 475 gear drive cam.
Hay guys. Well this Saturday I'm install the S&S 475 gear drive cam kit and would like to hear any feedback on this setup concerning the M8 engine in a 2018 ultra limited low. I feel good about it but I'm still having thoughts if this was a good choice for the 107.

Cant speak on the 107 or gear drive part but I have this cam in my 2019 cvo 117. Sounds awesome! Runs awesome! I would not trade it for any other cam currently available. I'm running pretty open mufflers so I'm giving up some on the bottom but it hits hard around 2800 rpms like a light switch, I love it!

I'm running a decatted stock headpipe with Magnaflow knockouts (4 inch) stock ventilator and dyno tuned with TTS. It runs great but I put the stock cvo mufflers on a few days ago just to see how it ran and I'm definitely leaving a good bit or torque on the table with the big mufflers. To get the best performance gonna have to give up some sound for more restricted mufflers. It's a tough call for sure!

Well I really hope I made the right choice with my setup and choice of going with gear drive cam. I feel good about the choice of cam but I think I should of went with chain. I guess I'll find out how it goes and let you know. Thanks for the help bro.

I've put this on several other threads and you may have already seen it, but here is a sound clip of how the cam sounds in my bike. Video is not the best but gives you a little experience on the sound.
