I did this but the Magnaflow Hitman map still has some flat spots. Reloaded the stock map and no issues.
Also, I noticed a pinging when accelerating over 3000 RPM from about 70% throttle. This happened on the MF Hitman map, not sure if it does it on the stock map which is what I am back to. Is there any way to do this without changing individual settings? If not, what settings need to be changed?
That's strange...any chance you can flash the Hitman map back into the bike, navigate to Customer Support, select Vance and Hines Support, then press Upload ECU Contents. Then send me an email to FPPro@VanceandHines.com with the last 6 of your VIN, and I'll see what I can do for you on my server.

I will have to do after the Lone Star Rally unless you will be there at the Rally then I can just come by your site. Unless you mean just load it up and sent contents without riding it. I can do that.

That's precisely what I mean, as this will allow me to see the map in your bike, and see what tweaks need to be made prior to sending the file back to your unit.

It's been a while since I sent the info and haven't heard anything back. Do you know if they did any updates to the maps. I still feel like I have a flat spot in acceleration and am about to take to a tuner to get that worked out.

Well, I went back to the stock map and it's running much better. No flat spots in the torque and no pinging. I am going to let the ECU remap then run 2 or 3 auto-tunes and save it as a good base map. IF V&H ever puts one of these on a dyno and creates a unique map I will use it then. Until then they are just guessing based on similar setups and it's not working.
