Absolutely nothing more than that. It gets shoved in a spot against the back wall of my garage, in the corner, that I could NOT get it into on its own wheels. This is the spot I will be tearing down the engine, and working on it all winter, so being up in the air will be great for building the engine.

I should have elaborated.

Guess putting it on the roll away rail wouldn't help much

I just pat her on the rear now and then as I walk by - let her know I still love her.

Did the same thing with my wife...

Some people put their bikes up in the air to prevent the tires from "flat-spotting" on the bottom from sitting in one spot over the winter months...

Which by the way, is a total myth. Might happen to a tire been sitting 15 years or more but cracking of the sidewalls will happen before a "flat spot" occurs

quite a few years, and bikes ago, but our PCH 1 Monterey / Big Sur road trip was epic..can't wait to do it again
