anyone know where can i get a larger air cleaner element for my M8 Ventilator ac. The stock one is rather small and id like to install a larger element
do you get any oil dribble onto your cam chest with the Fuel Moto kit?
My buddy and I both had them done at FM when we got our dyno tunes, and his drooled like a **** when we got about 500 miles from their shop. We thought it was the air filter oil, but it was just the same ol' M8 engine oil level thing. After his oil level settled at half mast on the dipstick, it was fine.
As for mine, I have not had any dribble, and I have now serviced it twice. Just like any K&N, don't over oil it. I like that big backing plate, just not the price tag.

yeah thats what i was trying to avoid $$$$. but i dont want to rig it. i want it neat and clean. i just figured maybe someone had a bigger ac with longer studs so didnt have to buy the whole backing plate assembly.

I know another guy that "stuffed" the element in the stock plate, and bought hardware, it works, but even he is going to get the kit. If you want it clean, spend the money.
You can get the ventilator extreme and it uses your stock ventilator backplate, all you need is the element and the brackets that hold it to the plate. Just another option for ya, good luck sir!
