My 2 year warranty is coming up in February. I may get to 5000 miles but I may not. Any issues with getting the 5000 mile service before 5000 miles? I assume no but thought I would post the question. Never hurts to ask.
Not like it will blow if you do it early. Not written stone lock up the brakes do service the second it hits 5K. Say bike due for a service in 500 miles and you are going on a 2,000 trip do you really want to do it on the road? You do it a little early and enjoy the trip.
Well, this year has been not great for me in terms of riding but I hope that will change in 21. Thanks for the responses.
no offense, but looking at your Harley History
2019 SGS - Silver Flux / Black Fuse - Wow....... 2017 Limited Low - Vivid Black - gone and forgotten 2016 SGS - Velocity Red Sunglo - awesome ride 2012 SG - Ember Red Sunglo - gone but not forgotten 2006 RKC - Black Cherry Pearl - should have kept this one
surely you read at least one of your Owners Manuals' maintenance schedules in nearly 15 years right?
it's not just about mileage, your fluids are to be changed annually even if the mileage isn't met...so even though Primary and Trans fluid aren't due at 5000 mile service
Should have changed if 1,500 miles ago anyway, LoL. Yeah I'm one of those guys, all 3 holes gets changed at 3k on my bikes. Overkill? Maybe in the trans and primary but certainly not in the engine. No way I got to 5k on this big air cooled vtwin. Its cheap insurance and makes me feel better.

All 3 get changed on mine at 5K intervals. It's only a couple of quarts extra so I'm not killing the environment that bad.

Did the 1k service, changed fluids at 3k. Yes. I do read manuals. I have always did the 5k service pretty close to 5k.
