Default 2021 Ultra limited battery terminal access
Wow, took seat off, trying to get to battery terminals, can't just clip the ecm out of the way, like my 2014, wires, plug connectors everywhere , having a rough time getting to terminals to add something, anyone else try it ?

Not too easy as it was a few years ago. Pretty crowded with wiring alone. I had to remove a couple of nuts and wrestle the plastic cover to gain access to the positive post.

Yeah it's buried, changed the battery in my 17 Road King a few weeks back, lotta crap in the way now.

Did you have to unplug anything, that's what I'm trying to do, get to the post, without unplugging everything, going through service manual, I don't know if I should pull the main fuse, or unplug everything and plug back after access, something about alarm,ect, this new bike has like four plug ins on top of the ecm, I'll try to get a picture, sounded easy in the service manual,

All the wiring is connected to the tray, main harness is zip tied to frame, also impeding removal

Anytime you are messing with the wires Pull the main fuse.

What are you trying to add? Most add ons can be done w/o direct connection to battery posts.
