Default Month / Year built

Can someone please tell me how to go about finding what month/year your engine was built? I recently bought a 19 and I've been reading the threads about oil sumping and how engines built after May 19 should be good to go. Is it a part of the VIN?
Thanks

On the OP's bike, it looks like the sticker is on the right downtube.

As I read the OP question it was the date the ENGINE was built. I'm pretty sure the date stamped on the downtube is the date the bike was finished being assembled, tested, and loaded into a crate for shipment.

The engines are built in a separate facility in Milwaukee. The final assembly of the full motorcycle is in PA.

You are correct, but he is concerned about the 8 lobe pump, and has another thread as well. The only way we know to answer it is by the assembly date on the down tube. I am not sure that I ever read how we can interpret engine build dates from the engine serial number, and what the cutoff is for the 8 lobe pump integration.

Apparently 5/19 is the magic date, you could check the number on the engine and call Harley

I have a 2019 CVO road glide. My engine serial number is 1931908706. I called Harley and ask how to decode this number. They gave me the runaround and never called me back.

1st 4 (1931) look like a date code....31st week of 2019 which would get you into Aug 2019...are the last 6 numbers any relation to the last 6 numbers of your VIN?
